What will you be doing?
SEO manager works closely with the SEO Account Director in delivering effective and holistic SEO campaigns that exceed client objectives, go beyond client briefs by pushing the boundaries of the SEO offering, manage execution and align delivery, help educate internal teams and staff members, as well as developing their broad Digital knowledge.
This position requires a hands-on manager with astute attention to detail and process, and who possesses the ability to generate actionable insights and recommendations. They will assist the Account Director in driving strategic SEO expertise within the team as well as helping to develop innovative strategies to meet and exceed client business objectives.
As the SEO Manager, you will have an understanding of how digital experiences can affect both acquisition and conversion, as well as being driven by a continual test and learn approach to your work.
You will be responsible for a team of SEO Executives, managing their workload, ensuring the quality of their work as well as getting stuck in with much of the heavy lifting yourself. You will work closely with the SEO Account Director in developing the SEO offering and ensuring that all work coming out of the SEO team is of the highest quality.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and implement SEO strategies and tactics in line with the client’s business objectives;
· Manage technical and content SEO streams for the client;
· Oversee the global site rollouts;
· Ensure high levels of service are delivered from all team members;
· Maintain day-to-day client relations including email, calls, and messaging platforms;
· Audit websites and provide recommendations for improving SEO performance;
· Identify new opportunities for improving client’s organic search rankings, traffic and conversions;
· Manage SEO reporting (keyword rankings, SEO traffic, conversion data, etc.);
· Analyse the client’s performance in organic search and derive relevant actions;
· Work with Account Director to improve workflow within the account team and across teams at Starcom;
· Research new ideas, trends, and technologies within the SEO space to educate clients and the Starcom team;
· Line manage and upskill account executives, lead peer-to-peer trainings and knowledge sharing.
