Our client is an artisan manufacturer, produced in Britain and proud to support the British dairy and farming industry (using only British milk). The role
Our client has ambitious UK growth plans and they are now looking to expand their technical team further with the appointment of a Technical Supervisor responsible for all technicalrelated activities.
Your remit will be wide and varied and will include ensuring continuous product quality is delivered, the supplier food safety assurance system is maintained and continuous improvement is delivered. With support, you will lead audits with suppliers and BRC agents. Other responsibilities will include providing risk assessment and crisis management support when required.
About you
The ideal candidate will possess a degree in Food Science or similar and possess 2- 3 years technical experience in a food manufacturing company. You may currently be a Technical Assistant or Coordinator, looking for the next step up in your career, or alternatively, already operate as a Technical Supervisor but are seeking a new challenge. Either way, we would like to hear from you.
The job requires a highly motivated, self-starter with a clear communication style, a professional and confident approach and a positive ‘can do’ attitude. You will be naturally highly organised, calm under pressure and possess a keen attention to detail. The position is factory based.
