Job objectives and responsibilities
· Ensure the Compliance standards are met for all buildings as required under contract
· To take a lead role in the day to day running of the site
· To provide support to the Contract Manager as required
· To liase with Sub Contractors
· This role is site based at Heineken, The Gyle, Edinburgh - please note this is a static role, no vehicle is provided
· Must be a qualified electrician - NVQ/SVQ level3 with 18th Edition preferably
Main duties
· To carry out PPM and Reactive works across the site, in line with skills set.
· Issuing or permits and risk assessments where required
· To provide day to day support for other engineers/operatives as required, including delivering Toolbox Talks
· To ensure a proactive approach is taken to H&S, including reporting on Near Misses and Hazards
· Develop a strong working relationship with the customer(s) on site
· Work closely with the service desk to ensure best practice for planning and completion of all works
· Obtain quotes for reactive tasks and small works as required
· Completion of all reactive tasks within the specified SLA's, using Maximo and Mozaic systems
· To ensure that all statutory and non statutory certification is received and correctly recorded
· Assist with compiling costs for quoted works
· To carry out site inspections and site audits as required and ensure that any actions are closed out.
· Adopt a flexible attitude in relation to assisting on other properties within the portfolio.
· All duties carried out in accordance with company policies and procedures.
· Proactive approach to maintaining and increasing qualifications/skills set in line with role
· To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner.
· To comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
· To attend and fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required
· To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required
Person Specification
· Qualified to City & Guilds Level II/III or equivalent in relevant disciplines to role
· Knowledge of Health & Safety and safe working practices.
· Strong customer care focus.
· Good communication skills
· Proactive and flexible approach
· Capable of completing essential paperwork in accurate and timely manner
