Technical Support Specialist
We are supporting a market-leader in their search for an IT Technician. Our client, one of the UK's top providers of managed service solutions are seeking an IT professional to join the team in Ely.
Working alongside the IT Manager, this role will help provide end user support across the business, and be fundamental in the implementation and maintenance of companywide IT infrastructure and network.
This is the perfect opportunity for anyone that has worked in Service Desk environment, seeking a varied role where you will gain exposure to the latest technologies and range of IT projects.
The successful candidate will require excellent communication and personable skills, to engage with a range of stakeholders across the business and provide in-person & remote support.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures.
- Work with the business departments to identify reporting requirements.
- Ensure smooth onboarding/offboarding of employees.
- Work with IT suppliers for procurement of IT equipment.
- Plan and implement IT projects.
- Support and upgrade the network across all offices.
- Perform routine maintenance on IT systems.
- Install, configure and update hardware and software applications.
Requirements:
- Proven experience working within a Service Desk environment or IT Support role.
- Experience with cloud services such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Active Directory management, and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Knowledge of Android & MacOS is desirable.
- A strong communicator, team player, and willingness to continue personal development.
