SalaryI am currently working with a key client of mine who is looking for a Technical Writer on an initial 8 Month Contract within the oil & Gas Industry.
They are looking for someone who can support the engineering project team, facilitating the creation of high-quality technical documents.
Type: Contract
Duration: 8 Months
Location: Gloucestershire - Hybrid working - 50% on site and 50% Remote
Hours: 40 Hour week
Rate: £400-£450 per day Inside IR35 (Dependent on experience - Negotiable)
Responsibilities
- Create, update and maintain technical assembly, maintenance and operations content
- Produce clear, concise and accurate content for a wide range of users whose first language is not English.
- Edit documents supplied by subject matter expects
- Get source information from documentations such as CAD drawings, specifications and interviews
- Produce and edit graphic such as photos during engineering assembly
Skills
- Strong technical writing and editing skills
- Good organisation skills
- Strong team player
- Good communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with software such as Photoshop, Illustrator or Creo to help create and edit images
