The TDDI Group is integral to the firm's Technology/IP strategy, playing a key role in the newly formed cross-practice Technology Group. This collaborative initiative focuses on emerging technology sectors, including digital regulation, big-tech, AI, cyber, and digital transformation. You'll have the opportunity to work on a global scale, collaborating with partners, associates, and leaders from various practice groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising on Tech/Digital and IP aspects of M&A, disposals, and joint ventures
- Handling trade mark licensing, distribution agreements, and franchising deals
- Providing counsel on sourcing arrangements, from technology outsourcings to business transformation outsourcing
- Handling disputes and litigation related to intellectual property rights
- Advising on emerging technologies, including AI, machine learning, blockchain, and smart contracts
- Supporting clients on cyber matters, including incident response engagements
- Advising on commercial IT arrangements, from strategic IT procurement to software development agreements
- Providing regulatory advice on digital and e-commerce business, data exploitation, and governance
- 1-5 PQE
- Strong legal/commercial knowledge and analytical skills
- Experience in complex technology/digital, data, and IP transactions
- Previous experience providing strategic technology/digital, data, and IP advice
- Excellent drafting skills and academic background
- Exceptional client relationship, efficiency, and transaction management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, intellectually challenging environment
- Resilience under pressure, with excellent negotiation and meeting management skills
