WHAT YOU WILL DO:
As an Operations & Strategy Associate in the Courier Growth team, your mission is to dive into whatever is most impactful to courier experience at Relay. You’ll be working hand in hand with the rest of the courier growth team, including the onboarding associates and performance marketing manager, in order to ensure we have the right composition of couriers in the right amount of time according to our overall company goals.
Spanning all key aspects of the business including strategy, operations and product, your work will involve demonstrating empathy to understand the journey of couriers working for Relay, understanding both the pain points and the positives within that, and working with almost every team at Relay to improve the courier experience through a data driven approach.
Your role will be focusing on our activations (1st route complete) and graduation (5th route complete) part of the courier experience, which starts after a courier has been onboarded. You will thrive in this role if you enjoy working with data, have an empathetic mindset and are excited by implementing and automating efficient processes incl. courier communications.
SOME EXAMPLE ACTIVITIES:
- Analyse data in order to define our next focus areas in order to increase conversion rates across the courier funnel
- Hold interviews with couriers to understand their experience with Relay and how we can improve and set up constant feedback loops with couriers
- Present recommendations to the Courier Growth Lead on a weekly basis
- Suggest product improvements for our app and prioritise them based on their impact on our cost per parcel
- Input into high level strategic discussions, but also jump into the day-to-day nitty-gritty
- Wear many hats - touch upon marketing & communications, operations, product, strategy, data
HOW WE’LL INTERVIEW YOU:
- Internal Recruiter screening video call
- Introductory video call with hiring manager
- Take home case study followed by a 1 hour in-person interview with a team member and Team Lead
- Final 30 min interview with Team Lead and Head of Transport or Founder
