Our client, a leading practice who provides expert Finance and Business advice to businesses and individuals, is expanding and looking for a Temporary Accounts Assistant Manager to join their Oxford team. They are focused on providing a high-quality service to consistently exceed client expectations.
You will be working on a variety of complex account assignments across multiple sectors ensuring each assignment is completed to a high standard, on time and within budget. Alongside handling a client portfolio, you will be responsible for reviewing working papers, statutory accounts, tax computations and management accounts for sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships.
This is a full-time, 37.5 hours a week, temporary role for a period of 6 to 12 months.
There are hybrid and flexible working options.
Please note, this is a temporary position paid on a weekly PAYE basis. This role will start immediately, so sadly candidates with a lengthy notice period cannot be considered.

- Stakeholder and client management

- Developing and applying your technical and commercial knowledge

- Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations
- Supervising, training and assisting more junior members of the team

It is essential you have prior experience within UK practice at a senior level, alongside.
- ACCA/ACA qualified or finalist
- Experience of FRS 102 1A is essential
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and client management skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Strong IT skills, specifically Excel and software packages such as CCH, Sage and Xero
- A positive, confident and proactive attitude
- Self-motivated with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
