Temporary Call Centre Advisors – 12 months – Work from Home

Hours: Monday to Friday - Week One: 8am - 4pm, Week Two: 11:30 - 8pm.
You will be required to work 1 in 2 Saturdays, with one day off in the week.
Pay rate: £10.42 per hour, paid monthly.
Start date: Thursday 11th April
Basis: Temporary contract for 12 months.
*** You must have previous Call Centre / home working Call Centre experience, and have your own home working equipment to be considered for this role***
This is a working from Home position, so you will need to have a home office/quiet and private area in which to work. You must also have a PC/laptop with Windows 10 (installed and up to date) and a USB headset, plus fast and reliable Wi-Fi.
This role involves inbound and outbound calls, dealing with members of the public to book an appointment for a health screening appointment.
Due to the nature of the role and its sensitive subject, you will need to be comfortable dealing with customers who may be upset or distressed. It’s important that you are able to show empathy and deal appropriately with all calls.
You will need to have demonstrable customer service experience, whether gained from a contact centre environment or another customer-centric role such as care work, NHS work etc.
Key Duties
- Making outbound calls and taking inbound calls.
- Appointment booking.
- Demonstrating excellent customer service.
- Handling sensitive phone calls with empathy.
- Imputting customer and appointment data accuratley and efficiently.
- Ensuring you are adhering to data protection and compliance.
- Achieving daily targets.
Skills and Experience
We are looking for people with previous Call Centre sales or lead generation experience.
- Previous Call Centre / Customer Service Experience – essential
- Excellent communication skills
- Drive and determination to succeed
- Ability to manage your own workload
- A people person with the natural ability to build rapport
Please note – you must have your own laptop / PC and USB headset in order to be considered.
Due to the nature of the role, you will also need to be able to pass a DBS check.
