Temporary Digital Marketing Specialist

Are you a Digital Marketing Specialist who's available immediately and looking for a short-term temporary role?

We're recruiting for a proactive Digital Marketing Specialist to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the Digital Marketing strategy across social media and Content Management System (CMS) channels.

Within this role, you will support and deliver Digital Marketing activities to drive acquisition and brand growth.

This is a short-term temporary position for approximately 4-8 weeks (possibly longer).

Reporting into the Senior Marketing Manager, the role will include:

• Manage and update the content of two company websites, including the creation of landing pages, content updates, and the implementation of new design features while ensuring optimisation for SEO.
• Assist with planning, optimising and reporting on Digital Marketing initiatives, with a focus on optimised PPC campaigns across platforms such as Google Ads, Meta, YouTube, LinkedIn and Spotify.
• Enhance campaign effectiveness through continuous analysis and optimisation of paid advertisements to improve ROI and increase brand visibility.
• Maintain and refresh third-party platforms such as Vimeo, YouTube, TrustPilot and Google profiles.
• Contribute to content development by managing the blog strategy and its integration with organic social media content.
• Supervise organic social media activities, including planning content calendars, coordinating asset creation and executing posts, while providing monthly reports on organic performance to stakeholders.
• Assist in data analysis and reporting to evaluate campaign success against established KPIs.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to plan and execute strategic campaigns.
• Oversee day-to-day relationships with external partners, including website developers, social media agencies and freelance copywriters.
• Provide support on broader marketing projects to help achieve business objectives.

We're looking for someone with the following experience:

• PPC and CMS Digital Marketing
• CMS experience - preferably Webflow
• Working knowledge of Google Analytics (GA4 and UA) and demonstrated experience with Google Ads, Search Term Reports, Keyword Planner, and various paid and organic social media channels.
• Good understanding of best practices for keywords, ad copy, extensions, and bid strategies.
• Confident with data analysis and interpretation of metrics.
• Competent in content curation.

Desirable

• Experience in account management with external agencies.
• Proficiency in project software applications, particularly Monday.com and Pardot.
• Experience working across B2B2C channels.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.

Hybrid - 2 days per week in Cambridge
