Title: Temporary Marketing & Communications Officer - Must have DBS (2 month contract with the potential to be extended)

Location: Benfleet

Salary: £13 - £15 p/h depending on experience

Days/ Hour of work: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00

The company

My client is looking for a proactive and organised Marketing & Communications Officer to help in the Marketing department on a 2 month contract. You will be responsible for conducting market research, speaking to groups in the local community and assisting with events. You will also be inputting data into the CRM systems, ensuring all details are entered without errors. They are looking for someone confident, proactive, creative and engaging.

Duties

· Assistance with internal and external events

· Ability to engage with students to take part and contribute to events,

· Conducting visits to different campuses and into the communities and schools

· Experience in building relationships with external partners

· Knowledge on researching, analysing and providing insight

· Monitoring ability to ensure the database and contacts remains up to date and correct

· Assistance with outreach work

· Ongoing admin and project management

· Proof reading

· Marketing material organisation and management

The ideal candidate

· High level of attention to detail

· Confident speak to groups

· Previously work in an office/ administration environment

· Knowledge of MS suite

· Organised

· Good administration skills

· Able to prioritise

· Independent

· Good customer service skills
