Our client operates across small, medium and large-scale projects, from refurbishments to new builds. From initial surveys, planning, design and implementation, they have it covered.
The Position:
As a Marketing & Communications Officer, you ll be the first of its kind in this business. With all marketing currently outsourced, they now see the value of having an in-house and dedicated professional heading up the strategy and marketing efforts.
Of course, some marketing will still be outsourced and in the future growth of the department will be required!
We re looking for an experienced marketing progressional who has a specific skillset within communications to push this business forward. There s plenty of projects to attend to, from internal & external communications, branding, website, case studies, content and copy this role certainly is for those who like to keep busy, have a strategy in place and work across different teams.
As there are several offices, there is a requirement for travel. Not every week, but in some cases you may travel up to three offices in a week.
Responsibilities:
- Implement new and existing Marketing and Communications strategies
- Identify opportunities to build brand awareness with a focus on communications
- Develop and implement a PR and a social media strategy.
- Manage social channels efforts Content, SEO, PPC
- Develop an email marketing & digital campaigns across the business
- Work with specific stakeholders to ensure marketing aligns
- Oversee, develop, and maintain media relations including identifying opportunities for raising brand awareness.
- Assist with researching and producing award entries, tender and bid documentation and analysis following guidelines and managing timeframes.
- Be involved and proactive in organising and participating in Practice activities
About you:
- 2+ years of experience within a communications role which includes dealing with local, regional, national and trade press.
- 2+ years of experience of producing web content and managing an organisation s social media presence.
- A good communicator with the ability to adapt communication style to the audience i.e., knowing how to communicate with both technical and non-technical staff.
- A flair for creative and engaging copy & content
- Technically proficient with the ability to quickly understand new software or web-based services.
- Experience of design software and of designing communications/marketing material
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
