Job description

We have an amazing opportunity, within a dynamic and sociable design agency for a superstar candidate to join as an Office Coordinator on a temporary basis. You will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the office, providing administrative support, and maintaining a welcoming and productive work environment for both clients and team members.

Role:Temporary Office Coordinator

Hourly Rate: £12 + Office Angels Benefits + Holiday Pay

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm

Duration: Ongoing

Location: Leeds City Centre

What duties will you be doing on daily basis?

  • Act as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, providing a warm and professional welcome
  • Support with scheduled meetings; including managing refreshments for any guests and clients
  • Coordinate office supplies, equipment, and maintenance, ensuring that everything is well-stocked and in good working order
  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
  • Provide administrative support to teams, including data entry, filing, and general clerical tasks
  • Plan and organise office events, team-building activities, and social gatherings
  • Supporting with recruitment administration at the request of the HR team.
  • Taking minutes, photocopying, sending letters and emails, and undertaking other administrative duties at the request of the Director of People and Engagement and other members of the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Electoral roll; preparing, distributing and collecting forms, then inputting data into the system.
  • Maintaining stationary and hospitality supplies as appropriate.
  • Managing confidential documents that are collected for shredding externally.

To be considered for this opportunity you will:

  • Proven experience as an Office Coordinator or in a similar administrative / PA role
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills, with keen attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other office tools
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Friendly and approachable demeanour, with a positive attitude and excellent interpersonal skills
