SalaryThink Specialist Recruitment are looking for a Receptionist/ Administrator to join a prestigious private school based in Bushey. This is a temp-to-perm position so you must be available to work immediately.
We are looking for an immediately available Receptionist and Administrator to join the team in a full-time term-time only role (34 weeks of the year). This position is offered on a temp-to-perm basis and would suit somebody with previous reception experience or experience working in a school setting.
The position is term-time only + 4 additional weeks.
Office hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 - 17:00
Salary - £26,000- £28,000 pro-rata depending on experience
As this is a temp-to-perm opportunity you must be available to work immediately.
Some of the duties will include:
- Greeting students, parents & visitors
- Answering calls and managing the switchboard
- Signing in all visitors in line with the schools visitor policy
- Placing orders for stationary and liaising with suppliers
- Responding to email enquiries or forwarding emails on to the relevant departments
- Transport arrangements including issuing coach passes and arranging transport for trips
- Manage post and staff pigeon holes
The suitable candidate:
- Immediately available for work
- Wanting to work a term-time only position
- Previous experience in a similar position
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Strong and professional communication skills
- Great telephone manner
- An enhanced DBS check would be preferred
