Following a promotion, Abbott Vascular are looking to recruit a Territory Managerwithin our Southern UK Coronary team. As Territory Manager you will be responsible for sales revenues in the assigned territory (London), with a product portfolio including stents, balloons, Fractional Flow Reserve, and 3D imaging using Optical Coherence Tomography.
What you will do:
- Your main objective will be to achieve territory sales targets and associated individual product targets.
- Be signed off to support procedures clinically.
- Develop new business opportunities with existing and potential customers and prepare and monitor tender submissions & awards as required.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity in assigned territory.
- Complete and submit timely administration tasks such as customer records, rolling forecasts, monthly highlights, expenses, etc. in line with divisional standards.
- Handle samples, demo devices, promotional and phone expense budgets as per your plan spreadsheet to ensure expenses budget is contained.
- Maintain close relationships with key accounts and ensure their requirements are being met by the Company's products where possible.
What you will need:
- Relevant degree or medical certification eg. nursing, or relevant industry experience.
- Prior experience and demonstrable success in a clinical sales role within the healthcare industry, ideally medical devices is ideal (prior experience in cardiology is not essential).
- An enthusiastic and hardworking individual who keen to succeed whilst ensuring to always keep patient outcomes optimised.
- Superb communication skills, including the ability to communicate clinical and technical data effectively.
