What you'll do:
As a Test Engineer in Group Digital Platforms, you’ll be pivotal in maintaining the quality of Sky Sports Mobile applications.
- Liaise with product owners and stakeholders to review acceptance criteria and specifications
- Perform a range of behavioural driven development (BDD) activities
- Collaborate with the team to ensure quality is considered at every stage of the lifecycle
- Define and create new automation test scripts
- Contribute to the creation and update of the Automation Test Strategy
- Assist in removing technical impediments encountered by the team
- Attend, contribute and where appropriate, deputise within Agile ceremonies
What you'll bring:
- An understanding of the fundamentals of testing and experience in functional testing, using a value-driven approach
- Experience of test automation frameworks (e.g. XCUITest, Espresso, Appium, Selenium) and associated design patterns
- Experience in Swift, Kotlin, Java, JavaScript or another programming language
- An understanding of non-functional testing (performance, security, accessibility)
- Knowhow of the key values and principles of Agile, including purpose of ceremonies and Agile estimating and planning
- Experience with Proxy tools (e.g. Charles Proxy, Proxyman) is beneficial
- Experience with integration testing tools (e.g Postman, Fitnesse, Karate) is beneficial
