Test Engineers In Northwest England

You Solutions have a position available with an industry leadinggame developer. They are looking for an experienced test engineer. You must have worked with C#, have a proven track record as a test engineer or a similar role and be proficient in manual and automated test techniques.

- Salary up to £55,000 (dependent on experience).

- Fixed Term Contract for 12 months (with the possibility of extension or a permanent role afterwards).

- Hybrid working based in Northwest England

Requirements:

• 3+ years’ experience with C#
• Proven experience as a Test Engineer or in a similar role
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and good practices
• Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Highly motivated, autonomous, and proactive

Your main duties will include:

- Being required to Design implement and maintain tests to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability.

- Working with stakeholders to understand project requirements as well as ensuring that bugs are reported promptly and accurately.

- Create and maintain reports on the build health and performance of projects.

In addition to your main responsibilities as a test engineer, you will represent title status, progress, risks, mitigations to the team and title stakeholders as well as participate in regular team meetings to discuss project status, challenges, and improvements.

Experience in C++, or Unreal Engine or working in an agile project environment is beneficial to the role but NOT essential to an application.
