Box office
- Work closely with the Senior Events Manager to run an efficient box office, including proactively selling tickets and ancillary products or packages.
- Be the first point of contact for general enquiries for events at Charleston, including venue hire enquiries, providing efficient and friendly customer service, answering the events phone line and responding to emails.
- Set up and run pop-up box office for festivals and fairs.
Ticketing
- Work closely with PatronBase, Charleston's ticketing system, to ensure optimum ticketing functionality and drive improvements.
- Set up ticketing for events, creating accurate venues, seasons, productions and performances and setting up seating plans as required.
- Coordinate ticket stock including all comps and speaker tickets, special holds etc. Set up and run special offers or discounts including any flash sales. Track sales and ensure tickets are released where necessary.
- Lead on priority booking for members for our festivals, working closely with Membership and Communications teams.
- Manage a box office pop up in events Marquees/ Hay Barn to sell, redeem and refund using cash and izettle
Reporting
- Draw reports on ticket sales by number and type, ensuring that all key staff are up to date with sales trajectories.
- Pull attendance lists for events to share with other key staff.
- To work closely with the Communications and Events teams to create robust reporting systems that are accurate and insightful and contribute to ongoing marketing strategies.
- Help compile post festival and event wash up reports.
- Provide information for annual reports, comparing year on year performance of events and festivals.
