Our Key Account Strategy kicked off in 2023 and has built an excellent foundation for future success in 2024 and beyond. We now look to expand our New Business team to focus on Fashion Key Account Retailers. The New BusinessAccount Manager plays a crucial role in amplifying our presence within the e-commerce landscape by strategically acquiring new Fashion Retailer merchants for TikTok Shop. The successful candidate will harness their market insights and professional experience to build and nurture profitable relationships, driving merchant satisfaction and broadening our brands network.
As a New BusinessAccount Manager for Fashion, you’ll be at the forefront, expanding TikTok Shop’s Fashion Retailer merchant base and shaping the future of e-commerce. With your expertise and innovative approach, you'll unlock new avenues of growth, setting new standards for success in the industry.
Responsibilities:1. Merchant Acquisition:
- Develop and implement robust strategies for identifying and acquiring new merchants, focusing on diversifying our e-commerce portfolio.
- Conduct market analysis to understand the latest trends, identifying emerging sectors and potential Key Accounts in Fashion for acquisition.
- Establish and cultivate strong relationships with potential merchants, understanding their needs, and positioning TikTok Shop as their preferred e-commerce partner.
- Negotiate effectively, leveraging on TikTok strengths ensuring mutual benefit and long-term success.
- Leverage current network to bring New Business opportunities.
- Work in tandem with various departments, including the Creator Management and Operations teams, to develop comprehensive support strategies for new merchants, facilitating their smooth integration into our platform.
- Advocate for New Business within internal teams, ensuring alignment in strategies and goals.
- Excellent communicator internally and externally to help ensure on-boarding success for new merchants and wider business collaborators.
- Launch and manage projects focused on attracting new merchants, highlighting TikTok Shop's unique value propositions.
- Organise and participate in events, workshops, and presentations to showcase the potential of TikTok Shop to prospective clients.
- Naturally organised and excellent in building structured plans with cross functional teams and external stakeholders
- Consistently monitor and analyse performance metrics, ensuring acquisition strategies are yielding positive results and meeting or exceeding set targets.
- Refine approaches based on data-driven insights, optimising for market trends and merchant satisfaction.
- Experienced strategic decision maker, based off data and analytical insights.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Marketing, or a related Fashion field.
- Significant professional experience in the Fashion and Sports commercial industry with a focus on business development, sales, or relevant roles within the internet/e-commerce sectors.
- Demonstrated success in merchant or client acquisition, with a solid understanding of the Fashion Retailer e-commerce industry.
- Strong negotiation skills, coupled with a impactful communication style, and the ability to close deals effectively.
- Strategic and analytical thinker with a results-driven approach, able to interpret and act upon complex data.
- Quick learner who is highly self-motivated and capable of working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
