Administration Assistant
Murano Street Student Village, Glasgow
£20,056 - £21,111 per year
35 hours per week
We have an opportunity for an Administration Assistant to join our Sanctuary Students team in Glasgow, based at Murano Street Student Village. The role will be responsible for being first point of contact for all students and guests visiting the site and will complete different administrative tasks on a day to day business.
We are looking for someone with excellent people skills who has worked in a similar role, communicating and helping people in a friendly demeanor within a similar hospitality environment.
The role of Administration Assistantwill include:
- Assist in the effective delivery of high quality administration and reception services that meet contracted quality standards as well as customer requirements and expectations
- Deliver, improve and maintain efficient and effective administration systems to support the delivery of services in accordance with Group policies and procedures and relevant legislation
- Support the delivery of high quality customer service by resolving problems or setting into motion the means of resolution
- Support the maintenance of effective filing systems, database records and processes that enable the accurate recording and timely provision of information, ensuring they are as user friendly and accessible as possible
- Raising purchase orders for office supplies and site keys
Skills and experiences:
- Recent experience of undertaking a similar role
- Working knowledge of effective communication at all levels
- Experience of supporting the delivery of high quality accommodation or customer service
- Good communication skills and understanding of written and spoken English
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
