Regional Head of Service
Blackwall Reach, London – Covering East Anglia, east Home Counties
£94,830 - £99,821 per year plus Company car or car allowance
35 hours per week
We have an opportunity for a Regional Head of Service to join our Property Services senior leadership team, based in London. Property Services is responsible for delivering a high quality and cost effective property repairs, compliance and installation and estate services across the UK to mainly internal customers and additionally a small number of external clients. It is also responsible for operational Health and Safety of the service, including fire safety and delivering effective group wide asset management and reinvestment programmes.
The role of Regional Head of Service will include:
- Deliver high quality property services including responsive repairs, voids, estates and planned investment programmes through our own teams and supply chain partners.
- Work closely with colleagues in Sanctuary to deliver service excellence to our customers and residents.
- Lead the development, maintenance and review of the Group's property strategy.
- Provide effective leadership in promoting and maintaining an effective organisational culture, safe working and performance focused environment for staff.
- Lead the service delivery through our supply chain partner networks
- Ensure the effective and efficient delivery of property investment strategies in line with the Group's corporate objectives and external regulatory and funding requirements.
- Lead major asset projects and deliver asset improvement programmes to ensure that the Group's assets are of high quality, well maintained and provide value for money.
Skills and experiences:
- Degree, management qualification or relevant professional qualification
- Substantial experience of working within the property / maintenance / facilities management industry and delivering effective and efficient services
- Proven experience of implementing strategy for a large, complex organisation
- Good knowledge of housing regulations, legislation and current projects
- Proven knowledge of delivering services within an organisational structure which includes a group parent and subsidiary organisations.
- Comprehensive experience of reviewing and developing appropriate asset management strategies ideally within a geographically spread / social housing environment
- Substantial knowledge of the application of Health and Safety legislation
- This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
