Senior Finance Business Partner

Worcester based with a balance of home and office working

£46,241– £55,253 per year

35 hours per week

We are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to join our Development Finance team based at our office in Worcester. This role will be managing and working with a dynamic and focused team and will include the preparation of management accounts, financial analysis, preparation of annual budgets and various reporting to industry regulators. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who has the determination and drive to help us achieve our ambitious goals in a challenging and rewarding environment.

The role of Senior Finance Business Partner will include:

• Managing the day-to-day finance activities within Development, supporting Finance Operations Manager
• Monthly reporting and preparation of management accounts for Finance Director and the Group Finance
• Monthly management accounts and project reporting for one of Sanctuary entities
• Managing forecasting and budgeting process for Development, P&L variance analysis
• Supporting the Development Sales Team in providing timely and accurate information and reporting
• Managing and providing leadership to a small team and ensuring processes are being followed in line with regulatory, statutory and business requirements
• Building strong working relationships with key stakeholders and ensuring any issues and shortfalls are addressed
• Supporting the progress of New Build Development programmes and processes in line with the Group's strategy to safeguard the organisation’s financial interests ensuring accurate, useful, and timely reporting
• Assisting in the review, development, implementation and monitoring of systems to ensure a robust control environment is maintained

Skills and experiences:

• Experience within a similar role
• A highly motivated self starter with the ability to make a difference assisting with the delivery of our ambitious development programme
• The employee can make this their own role introducing new controls and processes
• Proven experience of working to deadlines and prioritising workloads
• Experience of Business Partnering, working with both finance and sales teams
• Qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA or similar professional qualification
• Approachable with great communication skills at all levels.
• Strong accountancy skills ideally with a construction background (though not essential)
• Proficient user in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook or similar

• If working towards qualification, salary is £41,659 with an additional policy allowance of £4,582 per annum (rising to £43,851 with an additional policy allowance of £4,823 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
• If a fully qualified Accountant, salary is £41,659 with an additional policy allowance of £10,831 per annum (rising to £43,851 with an additional policy allowance of £11,401 per annum after 12 months, subject to satisfactory performance)
