Salary: £54,000(Grade 13 plus market supplement), Full time, 2 Year Contract

The successful applicant will be responsible for the delivery of a portfolio of key strategic projects, ensuring they are delivered within an agreed programme. Review dependencies and inter-dependencies across the council and provide assurance around programme delivery.

Client

Broxtowe Borough Council serves Beeston Stapleford, Kimberley, Eastwood and surrounding areas. It has a diverse property portfolio of around 4,500 properties that ranges from residential housing, operational assets and community facilities to leisure centres and high street retail premises.

Key Responsibilities:

· You will be responsible for analysing current process, technologies and strategies and then developing comprehensive transformation programmes across the Asset Management & Repairs division, consisting of multiple projects, in pursuit of key change objectives.

· You will be directly responsible for undertaking the delivery of these projects, improving operational processes, creating new policies where required, contributing to financial efficiencies and customer satisfaction.

· You will create actionable change management deliverables, i.e. business readiness plan, communication and engagement plan, benefits tracker, implementation plan.

· Supporting Managers with integrating change management activities into service delivery, acting as a change consultant throughout the project lifecycle. Provide change management guidance to Project Sponsors.

· Tracking and monitoring all change activity, developing documentation to ensure alignment to the change programme and transformation roadmap. Define and measure internal and external stakeholder change management success metrics.

We’re looking for an individual who has experience in:

  • Experience in the formulation of policies, procedures and supporting documentation
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Change Manager responsible for delivering end to end change within Housing or a similar sector.
  • Experience and evidence of deploying change methodologies and tools to deliver successful organisational transformation.

· Whilst experience of working in the public sector would be an advantage, this is not essential.

The ideal candidate would be:

  • Ability to undertake resident & stakeholder consultation and communicate approaches to service delivery.
  • Have strong communication skills, both verbally and written
  • Open and engaging in dealings with colleagues, supply chain members, and stakeholders including Senior Officers and elected Members
  • Model and promote behaviours consistent with Broxtowe’s values
  • Able to carry out any other duties within the scope, spirit and purpose of the job as requested by your line manager
  • A Project Management qualification
  • A solid understanding of how people adapt to change and go through the change process.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and move towards a common vision.
  • Strong planning and organisation skills; detail oriented and effective at delivery.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; confident writer and presenter
