Brookswood Day Nursery & Pre-School take Nature Based Play to the next level, the Nursery also develops young minds using the 'curiosity' approach. Embracing nature-based play, both the Day Nursery & Pre-School have enclosed private gardens. Children can play in the mud kitchen, grow vegetables and enjoy the reading hut.
Based next to Linford Wood, the Kids Play Brooksward Day Nursery & Pre-School is a self-contained building within the grounds of Brooksward School. We are looking for a passionate nursery practitioner, who will be able to work within the team to create a fun and loving environment for the children to learn.
This role is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Room Leader who can work closely within a growing team, have good communication skills and a passion for working in childcare.

Toddler Room Leader role:
Must have experience working as a Room Leader.
To assist management in providing the highest standard of compliance, care and education for children, and effectively manage daily operations of the nursery, including positive partnerships with staff and parents.
To work closely with the Management Team in ensuring a smooth running of the daily routine.
To liaise with nursery staff regarding children's specific needs and requirements.
To maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.
To adhere to all Nursery policies and procedures
To always meet health and safety and environmental health requirements
To provide stimulating activities and experiences
To observe, plan and assess children within your key group
To be passionate, inspiring and work effectively within a team
Minimum Level 3 childcare and education qualifications or equivalent is essential
. Strong practitioner with experience working in Good or Outstanding nursery
Full time/Varied shift patterns

- Ability to work shifts between 7.30-6.30pm Monday to Friday working 40 hours per week
- Commitment to continual development
- Have sound Knowledge of EYFS
- NNEB, BTEC Nat Dip, CACHE Dip in Childcare, NVQ level 3, EY Educator
