Incorporating sustainable and ethical practices is integral to our client business operations and they are looking for a Trade Category Manager who can communicate their policies, plans and practices with stakeholders as well as support the delivery of initiatives.
The primary objective of the Trade Category Manager is to cultivate business growth and optimise the alignment of product portfolios across various regions within the Global Export sector.
* Expediting and optimising sales and profitability for the global food category
* Track and enhance the performance of product portfolios and SKUs
* Collaborate with the sales team to drive a profitable product mix.
* Analysing market dynamics, competition, and product assortment.
* Creating persuasive sell-in presentations and conducting category and product training sessions for customers/distributors.
* Leading projects and new product innovation.
* Oversee the E-commerce agenda for the designated category/brand.
We require someone who can stay ahead of customer demand and needs, with a sharp focus on identifying opportunities to enhance logistics arrangements with customers and third-party providers.
* We're seeking candidates who ideally possess a track record of 12-24 months of successful experience in category and product portfolio management & development within the FMCG sector, including proficiency in shelf-life management.
* A strong customer focus with the ability to work with multiple stakeholders
* Pro-actively propose ideas on how to improve ways of working and become more efficient combined with improving the overall customer experience.
