TRAINEE KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER POSITION WITH A MARKET LEADING WASTE MANAGEMENT AND RECYCLING COMPANY BASED IN THE NORTH WEST

TITLE: Trainee Account Manager – Hazardous Waste Management

CLIENT: My client is a leading company within the Waste Management and Recycling sector.

They are now looking for a trainee Account Manager to join their buzzing team and the role would suit a Site Chemist or technical assessor looking for the next step in their career

Salary: up to £35 -£40k plus pension - Hybrid role once trained

Previous Titles: Key Account Manager / Senior Account Manager / Internal Account Manager / Customer Retention Officer / Account Retention Manager / Sales Manager / Commercial Sales Manager

Location: You must be based in Winsford, Cheshire, Holmes chapel and surrounding areas

Experience - Trainee Account Manager – Hazardous Waste Management

• Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks.

• Be a fantastic communicator who is confident building relationships with new and existing clients.

• Previous Account Management experience required with ANY Waste Management background considered.

• Experience in Hazardous waste is essential for example Clinical waste, WEE waste, Tankering or White goods

• You will possess great written and verbal communication skills.

• HNC Chemistry or above is desired for the position

• 1 years’ experience in Hazardous Waste Management

• Understanding of WM3 waste classification is desirable

Role:

• Look after a large portfolio of client accounts.

• Maintain and build excellent client relationships.

• Listening to clients’ needs and providing quotes in an efficient timeline

• This is an office-based role

You will be able to confidently resolve potential contract cancellations and achieve good levels of retention. You will continuously innovate and improve sustainable Waste Management through evidence-based contract development.
