SalaryTrainee Accountant required. My client is a well-established accountancy practice with a number of offices in the South of England. Due to recent growth, they are seeking for a Trainee Accountant to join their Plymouth office.

Trainee Accountant Position Overview
- My client will fund your training and provide you with paid study leave to attend courses
- Prepare financial statements and tax compliance work
- Visit clients' premises to carry out your role
- Work within a team and undertake projects on your own
As the role requires the ability to study for exams, my client is looking for someone with a strong track record in obtaining qualifications - strong GCSE, A-Levels (or equivalent) and a Degree Qualification. However, other academic history is acceptable.
Trainee Accountant Position Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an eye for detail
- Confident speaking to new people - clients and colleagues
- A good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Powerpoint
- Be able to take initiative, work to deadlines and prioritise work
- A highly organised individual
- Strong interest in Audit
The successful candidate will undertake both practical and theoretical training while studying towards your ACA qualification under an apprenticeship agreement.
Trainee Accountant Position Remuneration
- Starting salary from £23,000+ (DOE)
- Flexible and hybrid working available
- 20 days holiday + bank holidays - increasing to 25 days after 3 years' of service

- Annual salary review and regular salary reviews whilst training
- Death in service - 3 x your annual salary
- Opportunity to carry over one week's holiday into the following year
