Trainee Accountant or Bookkeeper

Role

Working as part of an Audit & Accounts team, this role would support the completion of AAT and ACCA studies, if desired.

Responsibilities

· Completion of bookkeeping using Xero/QuickBooks

· Preparation and submission of VAT returns

· Preparation of small limited company and sole trader accounts

· Preparation of tax computations with draft accounts

· Assistance with audits (if Trainee Accountant)

· Liaising with clients and the HMRC on queries

Requirements

This role could suit either a Trainee Accountant or an experienced bookkeeper.

As a Trainee Accountant you would be able to offer:

· One + years experience in an accountancy firm

· Have commenced AAT or ACCA studies, with a good pass rate

· Experience of using Quickbooks & Xero

As a Bookkeeper you would be able to offer:

· AAT qualification, or qualified by experience.

· Experience in bookkeeping, VAT, and management accounts in an Independent Practice

· Experience of Quickbooks & Xero
