AddressGrafton Banks Finance Ltd is pleased to be working with a successful and well known business in Maidstone recruiting for a Trainee Accountant to join the team on a full-time permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to progress through AAT or ACA/ACCA studies within a exciting team.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Daily banking – on a rota basis.
- Maintain accurate and real time document archiving.
- Accounts Payable – assist with account reconciliation, invoice and payment processing, and related administration.
- Purchase Requisition Control reconciliations.
- Accounts Receivable – assist with account reconciliation, remittance processing and related administration.
- Raise adhoc payments on request.
- Bank reconciliations and journal processing.
- Company expense analysis.
- Assist with compilation of required documents for the year-end audit files.
- Responsible for stationery - stock control and ordering and processing of departmental requests.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- BSc Finance & Accountancy (or similar) graduate (2022 or 2023), ideally with some work experience within finance.
- Alternatively, studying towards AAT.
- Driver with access to a car.
- Eager to study towards ACA/ACCA.
