Working as part of a team, you are responsible for providing excellent service to customers in our retail shops. You must be a confident person who likes talking to people and will promote our products face to face out in the customer area.
Being socially responsible is very important to us and a key part of your role will be to ensure that our think 21 policy is put into practice, so you must be comfortable in being able to ask younger customers for ID to prove their age.
Whilst an interest in sports and betting is an advantage, full training will be given, and it is more important to us that you are enthusiastic and positive.

You must be over 18 years of age and hours will be flexible and include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
· It is a legal requirement that anyone working in a Betfred shop is aged 18 or over.
· Previous experience of working in a retail or customer service environment.
· Previous experience of cash handling.
· Confident communicator, able to enter into conversations with regulars and new customers.
· Ability to work in a team.
· Ability to work under pressure, there are peak times for our shops depending on sporting seasons.
· GCSE Maths desirable, you will be working with numbers and odds.
· You must be flexible in your approach to work. Our shops can be open between the hours of 8am and 10pm.
· Experience of previous employment in betting or gambling industry desirable.
