Trainee Contracts Manager (AD174)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Contracts Manager to join us here at AD, working alongside a Contracts Manager in one of our busy project delivery department.
The position is a great entry level position into the business and involves assisting the Contracts Manager with all aspects of managing live contracts and submitting new tenders. The successful candidate will work 4 days per week and attend college on day release to study the HNC in Construction and the Built Environment as soon as the college enrolment has been successful. All training costs are funded by the business.

Duties will include:
· Helping to prepare tender submissions
· Raising sub-contractor enquiries and orders
· Collating and inputting information gathered from site onto valuation spread sheets
· Preparation of works programmes and schedules
· Preparation of health and safety plans and files
· Elements of Quantity Surveying
· Site Visits
· General administration
Essential:
· Full manual driving License
· Good communication skills
· Fully computer literate with experience of using Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
· Ability to use initiative and work without supervision at times.
· Confident and able to build a rapport with clients and colleagues alike
Additional Information
· A DBS check will be carried out on your behalf at the companies expense
· A company mobile phone will be provided
· Hours - Monday to Friday 8:00am to 17:00pm
· Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 + own car allowance of £100p/m
