Trainee Lab Technician sought for a well-established company who offer a fast paced and varied role. You will work within an experienced team and benefit from a good team environment and ongoing training and development.
The role would suit applicants that have previous experience working in the plastic industry or a material testing background and would like to move into a new field of work and gain valuable experience for a lifelong career. Due to this being a trainee position we are looking to speak with all candidates who may think this is the right role for them.
This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for preparing samples for testing using a range of tooling and machinery as well as performing tests in accordance with work instructions, standard test methods and test specifications using a range of equipment. You will also be tasked with releasing products and components for stock on the ERP system on satisfactory completion of required assessment and evaluation and ensuring the availability of testing materials in line with budgetary controls. Full training will be provided.

The Trainee Lab Technician: Ideally will transfer from any testing or lab-based environment Has previous material testing experience, ideally plastic. Is IT literate. Willing to learn a new trade.
