Trainee Legal Secretary - No legal experience required

Requirements:
- Excellent audio typing and/or word processing skills,
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint),
- First-class organisational skills
- The ability to show initiative, drive and determination while achieving results and hitting deadlines.
Responsibilities within this role:
- You will be working in our Childcare law team
- You will be required to complete tasks given by the solicitors
- You will be dealing with complex legal documents which will be used to assist a legal case in going forward and to court
- You will be taking inbound enquiries via, telephone or email and will divert this to the correct department if needed
- You will be an assistant to the Childcare solicitors and may be required to make outbound calls to update the client on their case
- You will contact external parties who may be supporting the case
- Various administrative duties such as:
- Filing
- Archiving
- Updating client notes
- Checking the inbox
- You will be provided training in order to use our ALB case management system.
