As the trainee Project Manager you will be fully conversant in how to deliver VIVO Projects of differing levels of value and complexity.
You will play a pivotal role in the delivery of our development pipeline, supporting projects at every stage. Successful applicants will be required to assist in the following tasks:
- Commit to completing all aspects of the two year VIVO Trainee Project Management programme and beyond inclusive of both internal and external training
- Day-to-day assistance to Project Managers in the delivery of projects
- Assisting and learning the preparation of reports, programmes & progress and reports.
- Assisting with and learning how to agree pricing and instructions with the client
- Problem solving key design or installation challenges on projects in conjunction with design team and suppliers
- Promoting and upholding VIVO’s reputation for providing the highest standards of site safety, health and welfare and protection of the environment
- Understanding how engineering and construction systems are planned and installed in live construction projects
- Developing good working relationships with the client, site teams and supply chain by promoting best practice throughout the whole construction process
- Developing your knowledge and work practices within the guidelines of health & safety and legislative regulations
- Work with our supply chain and surveyors to protect VIVO’s commercial position
- Develop an understanding in the technical practices and sequences on projects
- Demonstrate your knowledge and skills to ensure efficient delivery of projects
