Form of workA major UK grower and Cooperative group Leader for Salads and Vegetables, and Fruit importer, is looking for a person to join their sales team.

What we expect is a lively and enquiring personality, a grip of commercial objectives, a good people person, so communication skills are right up there ! Finally, an interest in developing a Sales (and possibly Procurement) career in the Fresh Produce industry.
This is a rare opportunity to enter an exciting and fast -paced industry with enough mentoring and support to ensure you excel!
Your day to day from the start will be learning about the variety of products, how they are grown, packed and sold. This may be Veg and Salads from their own UK farms to Citrus, Grape, Peach, Nectarine, Cherries from around the world. You will be given customer responsibility as soon as you feel ready.
Please apply if you have the following experience / knowledge:
- You must have some Sales experience , ideally trading or direct sales.
- Ideally you would have some experience in the Fresh Produce / Food or Fruit Industry , but this is not essential . If you are from the Fresh Produce Industry, a higher salary would be offered to reflect your experience.
- You would be a confident sales person and happy to 'pick up the phone' and keen to learn
- Must have excellent English language skills - spoken and written.
