- Participate in activities associated with Health, Safety and the Environment.
- Always adhere to relevant group policy initiatives.
- Assembly and recording of umbilical test samples and umbilical components including hose, cable and fibre optic samples prior to test.
- Setup of test equipment and test rigs, including development and improvement implementation where required.
- Test and report findings of umbilical components, including hose, electric and fibre optic cables utilising appropriate equipment and procedures.
- Preparation and Termination of umbilical qualification samples.
- Install, instrumentation and calibrate umbilical samples in appropriate equipment.
- Test, monitor and report finding of umbilical samples utilising appropriate equipment, instrumentation and procedures.
- Development of bespoke testing apparatus to suit testing requirements.
- To keep good house keeping and participate in S5 principles and activities.
- ONC or equivalent.
- Interest in general mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Mechanical design knowledge (desirable).
- IT and basic data analysis skills in Microsoft excel or similar (desirable).
- Data acquisition and instrumentation knowledge (desirable).
- 2D/3D CAD Design Inventor/AutoCAD (desirable).
