Trainee/Part Qualified Accountant

Our client is a well-established accountants based in Gomshall and they are looking for a Trainee / Part Qualified Accountant to join their corporate team.

Key Duties:

• Statutory accounts production, from client records to draft statutory accounts
• Corporation tax computation, understanding and interpretation
• Completion of or support of independent examinations
• Support of audit services
• Understanding of bookkeeping, VAT and management accounting both practically and in order to interpret
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations

Knowledge & Experience:

• Management accounts and bookkeeping experience
• Proven technical ability, ideally with prior use of Iris, Xero and Sage
• Understanding of modern accounting systems
• Experience in or knowledge of accounts production
• Interest in assisting with or completing independent examinations
• Interest in assisting with client audit
• Ability to manage workload and maintain client expectations
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate at all levels
