Training and Communications Manager

We are looking for a Training and Communications Manager to join the Registry Operations department within Academic and Student Support Services. The Registry Operations department provides support to both academic schools and professional services to deliver key University processes whilst also providing expert advice to staff and students on all operational aspects of the student journey; as well as the regulations which underpin these processes. The work of the department is engaging, with teams motivated to collaborate within a supportive environment. We are seeking to recruit a dynamic and self-motivated individual to join us.   The role-holder will support the work of the Registry Operations Manager by developing Training and Communications across the department. This post will support a culture of continuous service improvement and undertake a range of duties: Provide line management for the Registry Support Officer Build positive relationships and effective communication links across the university Coordinate our learning and development strategy by delivering workshops and training sessions that support development of the department and wider university Develop and maintain training resources and support the department to identify training needs to inform operational delivery Develop and deliver a range of communication materials for schools and professional services staff Maintain, optimise, and manage Registry communications channels, including but not limited to newsletters, bulletins, web pages and Teams/SharePoint sites. The ideal candidate will have experience of implementing and delivering Training and developing communications and resources.
