Location: Pinderfields Hospital, Aberford Rd, Wakefield, WF1 4DG
Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday (37.5 hours a week) 08:00-16:00 with weekends on-call
Pay: £12.45 per hour
NHS Professionals require a pro-active and hardworking Training Facilitator to work within the facilities department at Mid Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
We have an ongoing opportunity available for a Training Facilitator at Pinderfields Hospital. Training Facilitators are responsible for delivering a training school of excellence. You will work closely with the training manager to support all inductions and functional and mandatory training for infrastructure services. The postholder must be able to work flexibly to support training requirements of service needs.
What you’ll be responsible for:
- In absence of the facilities manager, you will monitor the facilities training inbox, responding in timely manner.
- Delivering induction programmes and training days, with occasional work on wards mentoring new staff.
- Provide mortuary training and resus training.
- Excellent customer service.
- Assisting in developing the team’s strategic plan.
- Supporting wider teams such as domestics and porters in busy periods.
- Assist in project implementations as required.
- Safe use of trust equipment and systems.
You’ll have the following skills/experience:
- Experience in a similar role.
- Level 3 aware in education and training (RQF) or prepared to study once in employment OR demonstrable experience.
- IOSH supervising or prepared to achieve within 3 months of employment.
- L3 Food Safety or prepared to achieve within 3 months of employment.
- Knowledge of Microsoft suite software.
- Experience of managing electronic and manual filing systems.
