Human Resources lead the implementation of the Group’s people strategy in line with business objectives. It facilitates talent management, succession planning and employee mobility while defining and overseeing frameworks that support employee performance management, reward, learning and development, resourcing and engagement.

We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Transformation Delivery Lead, Talent.

As the Transformation Delivery Lead for Talent you will be a critical enabler of HSBC’s People Strategy.  As a key contributor in the Strategy & Transformation function of Human Resources, the Transformation Delivery Lead will work closely with the Talent CoE Head and their Leadership team to scope and drive delivery of strategic change initiatives.

You will be accountable for management of the Talent change portfolio, with the initial primary focus of the role being the delivery of the Talent Acquisition & Onboarding programme – a global, multi-year flagship initiative to transform how HSBC sources and hires talent:

•    Re-platforming of global recruitment systems, introducing new capabilities in support of talent intelligence and onboarding.
•    Re-design of global processes and ways of working, creating a more efficient end-to-end journey and great experience.
•    Re-design of the Talent Acquisition model that enables proactive sourcing, skills pipelines, and skills-based hiring.
•    Developing and delivering a Talent Acquisition brand and attraction strategy.

In this role, you will also:

•    Take strategic ownership, establishing and reviewing key strategic priorities and translating into a programme roadmap with actionable and measurable plans for implementation.
•    Drive Transformation delivery, including scope, size, and execution of change initiatives end-to-end to quality, time, and budget.
•    Oversee programme management, ensuring adherence to required change standards, and appropriate rhythm and mechanisms are in place.
•    Establish and cultivate relationships with Senior stakeholders including the Group Head of Talent, the Talent Leadership Team, HR Chief Operating Officer, Head of HR Strategy & Transformation, Heads of HR, Technology, and wider Transformation and HR teams, ensuring appropriate buy in to the change initiatives.
•    Lead a team of change resources and working with global teams to promote values such as inclusion, collaboration, ownership, learning agility, and delivery excellence – fostering positive engagement and ways of working.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

•    Proven experience of leading a large scaled global transformation programme across Talent Acquisition and Talent Management is essential.
•    Detailed and demonstrable knowledge of end-to-end programme life cycle: mobilisation, design / build, implementation, adoption, and embedding is essential.
•    Proven HR domain experience across Talent technology and architecture – with a particular focus on recruitment , learning and skills platforms.  Functional knowledge of wider HR and HR Technologies is also beneficial.
•    Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate raw information into actionable strategies and initiatives, alongside strong stakeholder management is essential.
•    A critical thinker with the ability to lead and motivate multi-disciplinary, diverse teams on a global scale would be desirable.

The base location for this role is London, but we work in a Hybrid way.
