£22k- £25k DOE

8am-5pm Monday-Thursday

8am 4pm Friday

My client is looking to recruit an experienced Transport Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful, leading company, working in a busy and fast paced environment. We can only consider drivers with their own transport for this role due to location.

Duties include:

• Working within the transport office to assist with the co-ordination of a team that delivers throughout the UK
• Assisting with ensuring the drivers are on the road as quickly and efficiently as possible and issues are resolved promptly
• Communicating with customers and drivers to resolve issues with deliveries/delivery timescales to ensure customer satisfaction is met
• Liaising with internal departments to proactively resolve challenges
• Updating customer portals
• Undertaking any other ad hoc project or task within the company as required

Experience required:

• Experience working within a similar role, ideally working with drivers would be preferred
• Key customer service skills
• Be proactive and display initiative
• Possess effective communication skills
• Demonstrate a good working knowledge of MS Office applications

• Have achieved a minimum of Grade C in GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
