AddressTransport Administrator
Mid Kent
£22k- £25k DOE (Rising to 26k after successful probation period)
8am-5pm Monday-Thursday
8am – 4pm Friday
My client is looking to recruit an experienced Transport Administrator. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful, leading company, working in a busy and fast paced environment. We can only consider drivers with their own transport for this role due to location.
Duties include:
- Working within the transport office to assist with the co-ordination of a team that delivers throughout the UK
- Assisting with ensuring the drivers are on the road as quickly and efficiently as possible and issues are resolved promptly
- Communicating with customers and drivers to resolve issues with deliveries/delivery timescales to ensure customer satisfaction is met
- Liaising with internal departments to proactively resolve challenges
- Updating customer portals
- Undertaking any other ad hoc project or task within the company as required
Experience required:
- Experience working within a similar role, ideally working with drivers would be preferred
- Key customer service skills
- Be proactive and display initiative
- Possess effective communication skills
- Demonstrate a good working knowledge of MS Office applications
- Have achieved a minimum of Grade C in GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
