SF Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator to join one of their very well-known clients based in South Derbyshire, near to Castle Donington. This role requires someone who is able to drive and have access to your own transport, due to the location. The role is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday with flexibility on start and finish times. The role will be office based with flexibility to work from home if required but not guaranteed.
The role will be responsible for day to day administration supporting the Transport/Logistics Department, candidates with previous experience within the Transport industry would be beneficial however this is not essential. It is important that you have a good working knowledge of Excel and previous experience of raising PO's would be advantageous.
Typical duties will include:
- Ensuring systems are maintained
- Managing accounts and ensuring they are paid on time
- Updating tracker of hauliers
- Issuing invoices and remittances
- Inputting data onto spreadsheets
- Setting up new accounts
- Raising Purchase Orders
- Ensuring all paperwork is obtained in line with compliance
- General day to day administration for the department
This role requires someone who has previous administration experience, can pick up new systems quickly and someone who can manage their own workload. You will be joining a great team, who offer constant support, but will be required to hit the ground running and adapt quickly.
