I m delighted to be recruiting for my Client based in Barnsley S75 for an experienced Transport Administrator to join their busy operation.
You will work closely with the Transport Manager and transport team supporting them on a day to day basis.
Duties
- Liaise with Vehicle workshops and ensure all vehicles are pre-scheduled for inspections/MOT's/Tacho/Tail Lift Inspections
- Filing & Administration of Vehicle Compliance Documents
- Maintain the Compliance record system in relation to Operator Licence Requirements
- Monitoring and processing Vehicle daily defects
- Assist the Transport Manager with Vehicle Breakdown reporting
- Raise purchase orders for Vehicle repairs
- Carry out Driving Licence/CPC/Driver Card checks using the DAVIS System
- Assist the Transport Manager in the Drivers Tacho Reporting procedure and document storage
- Fuel Receipts checking vehicle fuel purchases
The successful candidate will have:
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and prioritize workloads
• Great team-working skills and reliability as part of a small team
• Good IT skills and be comfortable in an office environment
• Experience tachograph regulations would be an advantage
Hours
Hours of working are Monday to Friday
An annual salary of around GBP24000 will be offered based upon experience.
