SalaryWe are looking for an experienced Transport administrator for a permanent position within a factory environment for a growing organisation in based in Birmingham. The role is to be a key role within the transport department organising and coordinating the drivers primarily.
Daily Responsibilities
- Organising day to day transport for customer deliveries and building strong relationships with couriers.
- You will also be required to answer telephone calls, which will include customer enquiries, to progress customer orders, arrange transport requests and to increase customer satisfaction.
- Purchase Order Processing.
- Management of transport daily, weekly and monthly
- Updating all information onto the system
- Call handling.
- KPI presenting and monitoring.
- Assisting with any customer service, H&S and sales administration.
- Filing.
About you?
- Experience in scheduling and management of drivers
- Customer Service and Transport Administration
- Comfortable in communicating with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Proven ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Keen to learn
- Ability to work towards KPI's and targets
- Competent in relevant IT packages especially Excel
- Ability to learn internal systems
- Problem analysis and problem solving
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Driving Licence
The Role
- Salary £24,000 - £27,000
- Monday to Friday 8 - 5 (Paid break 10.00 - 10.30) & (Lunch 13.00 - 14.00)
