The Role:
- Plan next day deliveries across 12 Drivers, optimising time and resources for maximum efficiency.
- Handle driver queries and debriefs, providing necessary support and guidance.
- Manage fleet operations, including booking MOTs and insurance to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Track driver hours and maintain accurate records to ensure adherence to legal requirements.
- Coordinate with internal departments regarding delivery changes and updates, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
The Person:
- Previous experience in driver management at Manager or Supervisor level is highly desirable.
- Strong geographical knowledge of Portsmouth and surrounding areas.
- Ability to maintain a firm and direct approach to handle time-critical situations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think on your feet and adapt to changes.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
The Package:
- Monday to Friday, 5am - 2pm (flexible on start/finish time)
- 35,000pa+ DOE
