Form of workCompany based near Heathrow has the following position to fill, this is a Monday to Friday role with rotating shifts:Earlies – 7-30am - 4-30pm /Mid Shift: 09-30am – 19-30 /Lates: 11.00am – 19-30/20.00 • 1 hour for lunch • 40 working week. • On-Call every 3rd WeekPurpose the of the Role:To ensure smooth running of the transport operations to meet customer/s demand. • Coordinate driver/s and truck movements to meet customer demands. • Utilization of driver/vehicle fleet to maximize profitability. • Organize, update, and maintain databases for operational activities. • To support the business by completing administration functions • Must be a team PlayerKey Tasks:Control all transport fleet including, driver/vehicle coordination to best meet customer demands. • Control and liaise directly with customers via telephone, email and other communication means with updates on deliveries and collections. • Liaise with customers with pricing and other necessary information. • Control and maintain security at all times of all incoming/outgoing daily mail including courier consignments. • Control and manage vehicle operations to meet compliance with legal driver’s hours & regulations. • General administration support – Data Entry • Deliver individual and departmental KPI’s. • The Company reserves the right to vary or amend the duties and responsibilities of the post holder at any time according to the needs of the Company’s business.Key Skills:Excellent customer facing skills. • Strong communication skills • Excellent organizational skills • Able to work independently. • Numerate & Literate • Self-motivated and can work well as part of a team.Experience in Transport Management • AVSEC – CO Trained
