Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Monday to Friday, (3 week rota or as required).
Hours: Week 1 & 2 (7am to 3pm), Week 3 (9am to 5pm)

Transport Planner The Role:
We are looking for a flexible, enthusiastic, and self-motivated person to join our Customer Service department as a Transport Planner.
Our customer service department deals with inbound/outbound contacts from customer relating to order queries, both prior and post-delivery. Export queries and orders are also dealt within the team.
The Transport Planner will predominantly be responsible for the planning and scheduling of domestic orders, working alongside an external fleet of Haulier to maximise loads and capacity.
Transport Planner You:
- First class customer service skills are essential, where providing a great service just comes naturally to you
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Excellent listening skills
- Working knowledge of Outlook and Excel
- Able to carry out instructions quickly and accurately and the confidence to ask if unsure
- Good organisational skills with the ability to work to deadlines
- Ability to multitask and a willingness to cross train across all areas within the Customer Services Department
- Problem solver, with the ability to work alongside the Customer Service Manager to help improve proficiencies in the department
Transport Planner Skills & Qualifications Required:
- Previous transport planning experience would be desirable
- Experience working in a busy office environment preferred
- Able to organise workload in a consistent and methodical way
- Excellent interpersonal skills, relationship building and a strong communicator
- Ability to plan, prioritise, work to deadlines, without supervision and on you own initiative
- High levels of drive and enthusiasm
- Meticulous in you approach
- Dynamic and proactive
- IT literate and numerate
