Transport Supervisor

Location: Lancaster
Salary: c£35,000.00
Shift pattern - 4 on 4 off, 12 hour shifts
Summary:
This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who has a successful background in transport at a supervising level with a good understanding of legal compliance, drivers' hours and WTD's plus knowledge of transport management systems and vehicle telematics.
Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting in the smooth transition of a new contract
• Supervising the driving team including briefing and debriefing
• Complying to WTD and drivers hours legislation
• Liaising directly with customers and stakeholders in a professional manner
• Collate management information and KPIs
• Ensure site compliance, health, safety and security is maintained.

Experience:

• Previous supervisory experience within transport
• Transport Manager CPC preferred but not essential.
• Knowledge of Transport management systems and vehicle telematics
• Good organisation skills
• Excellent communication skills
