SalaryJoining a global media company as Travel Coordinator you will be in charge with organising seamless travel arrangements and complex domestic and global logistics.
The ideal candidate must be self-reliant and be able to take on international travel arrangements confidently. An easily adaptable and optimistic individual will be necessary for this ever-growing firm. This role will suit an individual who enjoys coordinating, problem solving, is methodical and enjoys working in a fast-paced role!
Responsibilities:
- Managing the coordination of multiple and global logistics (flights, hotels, transfers, rail tickets) from receipt of the travel request to completion
- Pre-empt travel arrangements with the knowledge of approaching events (including various major sporting events throughout the year)
- Action all incoming travel requests in accordance with the Travel Policy
- Liaising with production news planning and commercial team
- Working with approved Travel Agency and preferred suppliers (hoteliers, chauffeur services) to secure logistics at the best possible rates
- Maintaining strong working relationships with suppliers
- Logistics cost management
What we are looking for:
- Ideally 3 years’ experience in PA, EA, Logistics or Travel Coordination role
- Must have experience booking global travel
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail
- Meticulous, ability to work to deadlines
- Ability to work with deadlines
- A team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Must have experience booking extensive travel
- Geographical awareness
